Pro General Comments: Hi Kurt -Thanks for sending your song to me for a review, I really enjoyed listening to it, it's excellent. I don't give too many "5/5" ratings... to me, this song sounds like it should have been a hit in the 1990s, you know? It's not really missing anything from my perspective, as far as what I can tell you to improve upon. I like the performances, the vocals, the instrumental work - excellent guitars and solo too. Everything fits well together. It's a really great jam plus it has a solid hook/chorus. I can tell too that you guys have a really good songwriting foundation because the lyrics and chorus work well together and the song structure is to me, just how I'd have it if it were my song. I like the bridge too. Again, it sounds like a hit song in my opinion.As for sync, if you're interested, I can pitch it to some Sports TV folks and/or some retail placement clients and see what they might say about it. It might work for something like that. The quality is definitely there. As first impressions are key, honestly, seeing the title "Dying Generation" to me was not very intriguing and made me sort of not really want to listen to it - but I was (very) pleasantly surprised to find out that it wasn't really what I thought it was... it really seems like kind of a positive, or at least upbeat message to some degree (the music gives it that feel). The lyrics would've been good to see too, FYI for the future. I'd think about having the song title be something like "The Simple Life (Dying Generation)". I think the current title leaves one with a feel of negativity, perhaps unjustly. Hope that makes sense. The soaring hook/chorus really gives a sense of emotional lift, that I believe people would really like to hear. As a music supervisor, I also think it could also work in some sync situations.
