Pro General Comments: From the first piano notes of the intro, I was hooked. I really appreciate a simple and elegant recording with just a few instruments. The recording really gives the vocal and lyric time and space to move and be heard and appreciated. The lyric is allowed to breathe and that is important! The instrumentalists are really playing in what I refer to as "empathetic" fashion. That is to say they are listening to and appreciating what each other is playing. The parts never step on one another and that is so absolutely important in this type of recording. Bravo. The title of course reminds me of a line in one of my favorite movies of all time, Frank Capra's "It's A Wonderful Life". The song is a lovely sentiment and every word in the lyric points to the title. No wasted words here. Word economy! Bravo!!The instrumental break in the middle supports the recording and the group performance is exceptional.Love the rubato ending, too!
