Pro General Comments: I really love the recording - it feels modern and comfortable all at once. Lovely chord choices, and a melody that is both familiar and emotional. I am hopeful you are an artist as well, as the vocal performance is really strong. I hear hints of old school melodies like John Denver, but the way this is presented it could work for a song-lover like Tim McGraw or Kenny Chesney. Lovely guitar hook at the top and in the turn. My only concern with this song is the depth of the storyline. Sometimes this makes for a harder pitch in Nashville, where artists really want to connect with every word written, so unless somebody has experienced this story in their family, they may shy away. Overall, I think this is a great effort and is ready to be pitched and/or played for A&R and managers. The 90 days hook sticks with me and is written with enough repetition to drive the point home without feeling overbearing. It's a great mix of sadness and endurance, and an important reminder of the struggles faced by farmers every day across America.

Quote From Pro: A modern country ode to the struggle farmers face daily in America. Thoughtful and beautifully sung.
